Transportation Options to Get to ISB

Getting to ISB by Car, School Bus, or BTS

International School Bangkok (ISB) is located in the beautiful and family-friendly community of Nichada Thani, about 20 kilometers north of downtown Bangkok. Our expansive 37-acre campus offers world-class learning facilities and is easily accessible by car, school bus, or BTS from various parts of the city. Families who live in Nichada can conveniently walk, bike, or use a golf cart to reach ISB.

ISB families can choose several transportation options depending on their location, schedule, and preferences:

By car: Many families drive to ISB using expressways that connect Bangkok’s central districts to Nonthaburi. The campus has designated visitor parking and drop-off areas.

By school bus: ISB’s transportation partner, Montri Transport, is a trusted school bus service provider. The school bus system serves a wide range of neighborhoods across Bangkok, offering morning pickup and afternoon drop-offs.

By BTS, MRT, or shuttle: For families living in downtown Bangkok, the BTS Skytrain offers a convenient public transit route to Mo Chit Station (green line) or Chaeng Watthana Station (pink line). They can also go to MRT Nonthaburi Civic Center Station. From these stations, taxis or ride-hailing services can take them to ISB. 

For Nichada Thani residents: Students can safely walk, bike, or ride golf carts to school.

  • Driving directions: From Bangkok, take the Expressway toward Chaengwattana Road and follow signs to Nichada Thani. Ample parking is available near the campus entrance.
  • Ride services: Grab, Bolt, or other ride-hailing apps provide convenient one-way trips from any part of Bangkok to ISB.
  • Shuttle and taxi options: Available from nearby MRT/BTS stations and major hotels.

We recommend arriving early, especially during peak school hours, to allow time for check-in and security clearance at the gate.
