Saranratr (Nass) Maneesawangwong
Saranratr (Nass) Maneesawangwong has been teaching dance and participating in teacher training since 2012. She has taught in many dance genres: Ballet, Pointe, Modern Dance, Theater Jazz and Contemporary.
Saranratr started Ballet and then finished with the Advanced 2 Award (Distinction) under the Royal Academy of Dance, London. She has performed Classical Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz for many years before joining the Bangkok Ballet City Company in 2012.
Saranratr was the first Thai candidate to be accepted into NYU/ABT Ballet Pedagogy Program at the New York University in 2013. She received a Master Degree in Dance Education and an American Ballet Theater Teaching Certificate. She also participated in Teacher and Professional Training Courses in New York including the Alvin Ailey Modern Dance Teacher Training(2015), Dance Movement Therapy(2016), Dance Educational laboratory DEL (2019), as well as Theater Jazz, Tap Dance and Limon NYC Teachers Workshop(2022).
She was a dance teacher, trainee and volunteer for the dance community in New York and Connecticut with DANCE/NYC, Groove With Me, Pentacle, JKO ABT, Peridance Studio and Connecticut Dance Center. In Thailand, she has taught for various dance studios such as Alliance France de Bangkok and International schools.
Currently, she works with ISB School activities for the dance department. She has been a Middle School dance coach and Assistant Director for Dance IASAS since 2017. She also works with The Newton Sixth Form School as a Dance Director.
