Job Title: Sports Set-Up Assistant

Department: Buildings and Grounds

Report To: Buildings and Grounds Supervisor

Job Summary:


Provide full support for the Sports Set-up Activities in handling the sports equipment and other sports facilities of the school and assists in the preparation of on-and off-campus sports activities. Schedule and assign duties to team members. Liaise with PE Teachers, Athletics staff and CAO staff to plan for regular set-ups and big events.

 

 

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

Job Title: Elementary/Secondary Low-Incidence Disability (Intensive Needs) Instructional Assistant

Department: Elementary/Middle/High School

Report To: Life Center Education (LCE) Teacher

            Working Hours: Monday – Friday 7.00 a.m. – 3.00 p.m.

 

Responsibilities


  1. Under the direction of the LCE teacher, assist in the creation of a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment for all students.
  2. Facilitate the independence and appropriate participation of a student with learning needs in the school setting.
  3. Implement learning opportunities aligned with Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals under the direction of the LCE teacher.
  4. Implement positive behavioral support plans where appropriate under the direction of the LCE teacher.
  5. Assist in maintaining progress notes and collecting data on progress towards goals.
  6. Collaborate with team members including the LCE teacher, general education teachers, internal/external services providers (e.g. physical therapist, occupational therapist), and other learning support staff members (e.g. school psychologist, speech-language pathologist, counselors)
  7. Assist with daily living skills such as eating and toileting as needed.  This may include dressing/undressing the student to use the toilet, helping the student on/off the toilet, and/or helping clean the student after using the toilet.
  8. Physically capable of lifting students with mobility challenges (e.g. on/off the toilet, in/out of a wheelchair, in/out of bus, van, or car, on/off the floor)
  9. Assist in the creation and preparation of learning activities or modification of classroom activities as directed by the LCE teacher.

Job Title:  Lifeguard

Department:  Aquatics

Report to:  Aquatics Director


Lifeguard   

To supervise the security and safety of the ISB community in all areas of both Aquatics Facilities and carry out care as required.

 

To assist the Aquatics Director in the care and maintenance of both ISB Aquatics Facilities in a professional manner to ensure a high quality of service and learning to our students and community as a whole.

 

To maintain the facility to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.


Responsibilities:

  1. To comply with the Pool Safe Operating Procedures at all times.
  2. To maintain a vigilant watch of the swimming pool areas in accordance with the operating procedures and take necessary action to ensure the safety of all pool users and staff.
  3. To check the safety of equipment in areas of responsibility and report any damage or malfunction of equipment, plant or building fabric to the Duty Manager immediately after discovery.
  4. To assist in the preparation and operation of events and activities, including the assembly and dismantling of equipment and minor repairs when required.
  5. To ensure that a consistently high level of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout the facilities at all times.
  6. To patrol all areas of the facility and ensure that all areas are being used in the correct manner, making suitable adjustments as necessary.
  7. To assist the Aquatics Director and Aquatics Staff in maintaining sports activity, activity areas and stores in a clean, safe and tidy manner.
  8. To assist in the opening and closing of the facilities when required and assist in monitoring the security of the premises at all times.
  9. Assist with the supervision and control of children’s activities including PE classes, after school activities and all other community activities scheduled.
  10. Attend regular Lifeguard training sessions to ensure ongoing personal development and compliance of the requirements of the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
  11. Perform inspection of pool safety equipment including rescue aids and alarms in accordance with the operating procedures.
  12. To assist the Aquatics Director with any tasks involved in the operation of the Pool.
  13. To undertake any suggested training requirements and to attend relevant training courses as required by the Aquatics Director.
  14. To instruct swimming lessons for Physical Education classes and for the After School Activity: Learn to Swim.
  15. To coach developmental squads for the Panther Swim Team and/or Jr. Panther Cubs (after school).

Essential skills/experience /knowledge:

  • American Red Cross Lifeguard Qualification (or equivalent).
  • C.P.R. and First Aid Certifications.

Job Title: HS Attendance and Secretary to HS Dean of Students

Department: High School

Report To: High School Dean of Students

Working Hours: Monday – Friday ( 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. )

 

Qualifications


  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years secretarial experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and in Thai
  • Proven computer skills including word processing, database management and spreadsheet manipulation. Experience using the Google suite is preferential
  • Ability to perform secretarial and administrative support functions requiring independent judgment, decision-making, and problem solving
  • Ability to deal with students, teachers and parents on a day-to-day basis in a polite and effective manner
  • Ability to tolerate frequent interruptions by telephone and by drop-in visits by students, parents and staff

Overview of Role:


This position provides secretarial support to the Dean of Students and is responsible for all phases of attendance accounting, including collection of information, maintenance of accurate records, screening of absence and tardy excuses, issue and approve gate passes and filing of reports. An eye for detail is essential in this position.   As one of the key faces of the High School Office, this staff member plays an essential role in setting and maintaining ISB’s values and culture with the school’s community members. The candidate needs to be able to work calmly under pressure, demonstrating competent interpersonal skills with an appreciation and understanding for adolescent students.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Performs all daily attendance procedures
    • Assumes responsibility for creating, updating and maintaining day schedules in PowerSchool.
    • Carefully monitors teacher recording of absentees and tardiness reports in PowerSchool.
    • Prepares daily absentee lists to be sent at the end of day to all certified staff.
    • Notifies Dean of Students, Counselors of student’s illness, suspected truancy and unexcused tardies from classes or school.
    • Records information on PowerSchool for each individual student, managing the documentation of all absences, recording all absent notes from parents both in physical and digital form.
    • Informs the teachers of the students who are out of school for longer periods of time, updating PowerSchool for any pre-approved absences
    • Call the parents of each student who has been absent two days in a row and inquire how he/she is feeling, when he/she is to be expected back in school.
    • Informs the nurse’s office of the student who has contagious diseases and liaises with the Nurse’s office for any student who is unwell.
    • Runs a weekly attendance report for students with high absences and tardies and communicates to parents and students.
    • Informs Dean of Students regarding students with high absences
  • Support the Dean of Students in a secretarial capacity.
    • Maintains the High School Dean of Students calendar, schedules appointments, meetings, events, etc.
    • Assist the High School Dean of Students needs through preparation for meetings, copies, scanning, calling students, student notes etc.
    • Assists with the High School Handbook publication and updates as necessary
    • Assumes responsibility for all HS licensed drivers
    • Manages call slips to the HS office.
    • Give any daily reports concerning student problems to the Supervisor for action to be taken accordingly.
  • Acts as a receptionist in the role as the first point of contact for the High School Office.
  • Assumes responsibilities for all senior gate passes and temporary gate passes.
  • Organizes the distributions of documents/information/items to and from parents, teachers, students and other school offices.
  • Assists with any lost and found materials.
  • Oversees all HS student drug testing, coordinating with the Nurses Office including random selection of students, call notes, collection and coordination with the external company
  • Supervise After School detention and cover MSH supervisor where necessary

  • Process requests for purchase/transfer/sales of Assessment/Capital Certificates
  • Matching requests for transfer/sales of Assessment/Capital Certificates for parents/sponsors
  • Preparation of letters of transfer of Assessment/Capital Certificates for approval by the Board of Trustees
  • Maintain correspondence with parents/sponsors regarding Assessment/Capital Certificates including checking and verifying all relevant documents
  • Advise the accounting department to prepare the refund checks for sales of certificates.
  • Prepare Monthly reports pertaining to Assessment/Capital Certificates
  • Maintain/Follow up all records of the Assessment/Capital Certificates and related documents

Invoice and Cashier

  • Assist the Invoice Officer to issue invoices, maintain parents/student’s information by updating school fee status, withdrawals, and following-up on re-enrollments, deposits and late payments
  • Preparation of mailing out Invoices/Receipts, filing and maintaining invoice folders
  • Completing educational grant requests, checking and certifying school fees payment for UN or other organizations as requested by parents
  • Support invoice paper to the school fees receipts for accounting department
  • Coordinating the re-enrollment process and collection of deposits
  • Follow up on late payment of school fees and calculation of penalties on late payments
  • Coordinating with summer school for fees payment and refund. Prepare the list of summer school students and reconcile with Accounting Department.
  • Preparation of reports and details of scholarship students, support invoices to the Account Department and reconcile.
  • Assisting with cashier duties including cash/check collections, issue of receipts, pay-in slip, disbursement of checks to supplier, etc. and assisting teachers with banking services

SCOPE OF SERVICES:


The primary function of Library Support is to carry out daily library shelving, housekeeping, and supervision of students. Their secondary function is to assist with the circulation desk and the processing of library materials.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Shelf, tidy, organize, display and pull library materials
  • General housekeeping throughout the day; reorganize library furniture after classes and throughout the day
  • Repair, clean and process library materials
  • Monitor library supplies and coordinate with the library assistants to ensure supplies are replenished
  • Monitor student behavior as needed
  • Interact with all member(s) of the ISB community face-to-face and via technology; provide library patrons with circulation desk services when needed
  • Direct library patrons to the materials or information requested
  • Process library, classroom and book room materials for both MS and HS
  • Conduct inventory scanning of library and classroom material (MS English)

Job Title: Textbook Assistant

Department: Main Library

Report To: Main Library MS/HS Librarians

SCOPE OF SERVICES:


Their primary function is to carry out management, organization, and the delivery and collection of textbooks in both the MS and HS. To work as a liaison between the academic departments, purchasing department, and the library staff to coordinate orders and purchasing, as well as book processing for use by students. Their secondary function is to assist with the circulation desk and supervision of the Main Library.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Organize, maintain, and pull requested textbooks.
  • Collect textbook orders from departments throughout the year and assist in price shopping.
  • Planning and delivery/collection of textbooks/materials to MS and HS students and teachers
  • Work with Cataloger to ensure accuracy of collection and processing of all textbooks in MS and HS as well as classroom libraries
  • Assist in planning annual maintenance of all textbooks and classroom libraries in MS and HS
  • Repair, clean, and process textbooks/materials
  • Process textbooks, classroom, and library books/materials for both MS and HS
  • Conduct inventory on textbooks, classroom libraries, bookrooms, and assist with library books/materials for both MS and HS

  • Interact with all members of the ISB community face-to-face and via technology; provide students, teachers, admin, and library patrons with services as needed

History

Founded in 1951, ISB was the first international school in the Kingdom of Thailand. The school initially opened on the grounds of the US Embassy with 35 students, but with increasing enrollment moved to different campuses in the Bangkok area. Enrollment reached 3,650 students during the Vietnam War. In 1992, ISB moved to its present 35 acre purpose-built campus, 25 km from the center of Bangkok. 1,650 students are currently enrolled in the Elementary, Middle, and High schools.

 

Community

ISB is proudly international in its student body, enrolling students from more than sixty countries. Students from the United States account for the highest percentage of enrollment, with students from Thailand , Japan, and Korea forming other major nationality groups. English is a second or third language for more than half of the students. 

 

Academic Program

ISB provides a university preparatory program with English as the language of instruction. Graduates earn a U.S. high school diploma and most students elect to pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma program.

Faculty

The Pre-K to 12 faculty consists of over 200 educators including librarians, counselors, psychologists, learning coaches and special education teachers.  Each of the school’s three divisions has a principal and one or more assistant principals. Goal:  The goal of the Korean Community Liaison is to ensure that students feel safe at ISB and to enable them to access the resources they need to be successful.  The Liaison also provides an avenue of communication and support to provide clarity and help our Korean families understand ISB’s culture, processes, and expectations.

 

Services:

  1. Act as a translator and liaison between staff, students, and parents of Korean students for elementary, middle and high schools, including:
    1. Parent Meetings, IEP meetings, verbal reports to parents (not translations), etc.
    2. Visiting students to check on how they are doing (following requests from parents, teachers, counselors and school psychologists)
    3. Parent Teacher Conferences (when requested)
    4. Orientation, presentations (US Colleges, SAT/TOEFL, home country Universities- how to apply, etc.)
  2. Talking to students and listening to their concerns and needs, then passing the information to counselors, administrators, and school psychologists when appropriate
  3. Listening to parents’ needs and questions and passing them on to an appropriate person (facilitating channels of communication)
  4. Giving advice and explanations to students and parents, for example how to self advocate and what the school expects to see from students in different education systems
  5. Sometimes going into classrooms during lessons and explaining what the teacher needs from students (on the request of teachers).  This does not mean actually teaching, just supporting with information
  6. Emailing staff, students and parents (if needed, provide written translations/summaries of teachers’ email)
  7. Translations for school communications and publications such as parent school eNews 
  8. Works with ISB Admissions and Marketing departments to promote ISB’s program to the Korean community
  9. Provides support / translation services during emergency or crisis (as needed and requested by families or ISB)
  10. Collaborates in event coordination when related to appropriate communities
  11. Provides advice and coaching to teachers, administrators, counselors, etc. on cultural matters and sensitive interactions 
  12. Performs other tasks that may be assigned by Supervisor

Thai law requires alien employees to carry work permit prior to performing his/her duty.  The Employer and the Employee shall jointly apply for the work permit for the Employee to perform his/her duty.  In the event the appropriate government authority does not grant a work permit to the Employee for whatever reason, then, the Employer shall terminate the contract immediately without any liability to the Employer.

หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ:

  1. งานบริการซ่อมบำรุง ซ่อมแซม ติดตั้ง บำรุงรักษาระบบปรับอากาศ ขนาดเล็ก ขนาดใหญ่ (Chiller) ระบบระบายอากาศ ระบบตู้แช่เย็น ระบบทำความเย็นตู้น้ำดื่ม ระบบม่านอากาศให้อยู่ในสภาพที่ใช้งานและปลอดภัย
  2. รับผิดชอบงานปรับเปลี่ยนอุปกรณ์เครื่องจักร
  3. รับผิดชอบการจัดเตรียมแผนบำรุงรักษาเชิงป้องกัน ดำเนินการบำรุงรักษาเชิงป้องกัน
  4. ดูแลรักษาเครื่องมือและอุปกรณ์ในการทำงานให้อยู่ในสภาพสมบูรณ์พร้อมใช้งาน
  5. ช่วยเหลืองานด้านอื่นๆ ตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย

คุณสมบัติของผู้สมัคร

  1. ชาย อายุระหว่าง 25 – 35 ปี
  2. จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีวิศวกรรมศาสตร์สาขาเครื่องปรับอากาศ ปวส หรือประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ ด้านไฟฟ้า เครื่องปรับอากาศ เครื่องกล หรือเทียบเท่า
  3. มีประสบการณ์อย่างน้อย 3 – 5 ปี ในงานด้านเครื่องปรับอากาศ
  4. มีประสบการณ์ด้านระบบปรับอากาศขนาดใหญ่ (Chiller) (จะพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ)
  5. สามารถติดตั้ง หรือ ล้างซ่อมแอร์
  6. มีทัศนคติที่ดีในการทำงานและมีใจรักงานบริการ
  7. มีสุขภาพร่างกายแข็งแรง
  8. ขยันและซื่อสัตย์ในการทำงาน และ เข้ากับเพื่อนร่วมงานได้ดี
  9. สามารถอ่าน พูด และ เขียน หรือ เข้าใจภาษาอังกฤษพอใช้ (จะพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ)
  10. สามารถใช้งานคอมพิวเตอร์และซอฟแวร์ Microsoft Office ได้ดี

  1. เตรียมอุปกรณ์เครื่องมือและดูแลบำรุงรักษาให้พร้อมปฏิบัติงาน โดยสามารถใช้งานได้ตลอดเวลา
  2. รักษาความสะอาดหลังจากปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในพื้นที่นั้นๆ
  3. มีความพร้อมและสามารถที่จะเข้าแก้ปัญหาฉุกเฉินและเร่งด่วนได้ตลอดเวลา
  4. ช่วยเหลืองานด้านอื่นๆตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย

  2. ชาย อายุระหว่าง 25-40 ปี
  3. จบการศึกษาระดับ ป.6 หรือ ม.3 หรือ ม.6 หรือ ประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ ปวช., ปวส.
  4. มีประสบการณ์อย่างน้อย 3-5 ปี ในงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง
  5. สุขภาพแข็งแรง ไม่มีโรคประจำตัวที่เป็นอุปสรรคในการทำงาน

ลักษณะงาน


ตำแหน่ง: พนักงานทำความสะอาด

เวลาการทำงาน: จันทร์ – ศุกร์ 13.30 น. – 22.00 น. เสาร์ 8.00 น. – 12.00 น. หรือ อาทิตย์ 8.00 น. – 12.00 น.

               หยุดสัปดาห์ละ 1 วัน ครึ่ง

ผู้บังคับบัญชาโดยตรง: หัวหน้าฝ่ายอาคารสถานที่

สถานที่ วันและเวลาทำงานสามารถปรับเปลี่ยนได้ตามความเหมาะสม     

หน้าที่ขอบเขตความรับผิดชอบ


  1. ดูแลความสะอาดบริเวณห้องเรียน ห้องประชุม โรงยิม สนามฟุตบอล เบสบอล ภายนอกและภายในอาคาร อัฒจรรย์ ห้องน้ำ ทางเดินต่าง ๆ สนามเด็กเล่น
  2. บำรุงรักษาอุปกรณ์เกี่ยวข้องทั้งหมด
  3. ช่วยจัดสถานที่ ช่วยเหลืองานด้านอื่นๆ ตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย
  4. งานขนย้าย
  5. อื่น ๆ ตามแต่ความต้องการของกลุ่มผู้ขอหรือตามแต่หัวหน้างานจะมอบหมาย (ครู นักเรียน ผู้ปกครอง พนักงานตามหน่วยงานอื่น)

คุณสมบัติของผู้สมัคร


  1. จบการศึกษาระดับชั้นประถมปีที่ 6 เป็นอย่างต่ำ
  2. มีประสบการณ์อย่างน้อย 1 ปี ในงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง
  3. อายุไม่เกิน 40 ปี
  4. สุขภาพแข็งแรง ไม่มีโรคประจำตัวที่เป็นอุปสรรคในการทำงาน
  5. มีทัศนคติที่ดีในการทำงาน
  6. รักการบริการ
  7. ถ้ามีประสบการณ์เกี่ยวข้องจะพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
  8. มีความพร้อมและสามารถยืดหยุ่นในการปรับเปลี่ยนพื้นที่ในการทำงานและเวลาทำงาน หากมีการเปลี่ยนแปลง และการทำงานล่วงเวลาที่จะได้รับมอบหมาย

หน้าที่ขอบเขตความรับผิดชอบ


  1. รับผิดชอบ ดูแลต้นไม้ ตัดแต่งพุ่มไม้ สนามหญ้า กวาดใบไม้ และบำรุงรักษาเครื่องมือที่ใช้
  2. ดูแลพื้นที่บริเวณโรงเรียนให้สะอาด ฉีดพื้นถนน ทิ้งขยะ ลอกท่อ ล้างโรงขยะ ฯลฯ
  3. ช่วยยกของ
  4. เตรียมงานจัดเลี้ยง
  5. ช่วยเหลืองานด้านอื่นๆตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย

คุณสมบัติของผู้สมัคร


  1. มีความรู้เรื่องดูแลต้นไม้ บ้างพอสมควร สามารถปีนขึ้นที่สูงได้ และขับรถอีแต๋นได้
  2. จบการศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3
  3. มีประสบการณ์การทำงานที่เกี่ยวข้องมาบ้างอย่างน้อย 1 ปี
  4. สุขภาพแข็งแรง ไม่มีโรคประจำตัวที่เป็นอุปสรรคในการทำงาน
  5. ซื่อสัตย์ ขยัน และตั้งใจทำงาน
  6. มีทัศนคติที่ดีในการทำงาน รักการบริการ

ลักษณะงาน


ตำแหน่ง: เจ้าหน้าที่รักษาความปลอดภัย

เวลาทำงาน: ทำงาน 6 วันต่อสัปดาห์ มีวันหยุด 1 วัน (หมุนเวียนกะ)

  • เช้า: 06:30-15:30
  • บ่าย: 13:30-22:30
  • ดึก: 22:30-07:30 หรือตามความเหมาะสม เพื่อความสอดคล้องกับลักษณะงานรักษาความปลอดภัย ซึ่งอาจนอกเหนือจากเวลาที่กำหนด

หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ:


  1. ดูแลความปลอดภัยและป้องกันทรัพย์สินใดๆ ภายในบริเวณโรงเรียนทั้งในและนอกอาคาร
  2. ดูแลและจัดระเบียบจราจรในชั่วโมงเร่งด่วน ให้ได้รับความสะดวก เรียบร้อย และปลอดภัยต่อผู้ใช้ถนนภายในโรงเรียน
  3. ดูแลและรับผิดชอบห้องโทรทัศน์วงจรปิด
  4. ติดตามดูแลการทำงานของผู้ให้บริการที่เข้ามาซ่อมแซม อุปกรณ์หรืออื่นๆ
  5. เดินตรวจภายในอาคารอย่างสม่ำเสมอเพื่อป้องกันเหตุ อันตราย หรือเหตุร้ายต่างๆ
  6. เดินตรวจสอบประตูหนีไฟ ต้องไม่มีสิ่งใดกีดขวาง และเปิด-ปิดได้สะดวก เสมอ
  7. เดินตรวจสอบลานจอดรถยนต์ เพื่อค้นหารถยนต์ที่ไม่มีสติ๊กเกอร์อนุญาตเข้ามาจอด และรถยนต์ที่ติดเครื่องยนต์ไว้
  8. ปิด-เปิดประตูอาคารเรียนและห้องเรียน ต่างๆ ให้เรียบร้อย
  9. ตรวจ ปิด-เปิดไฟฟ้าและเครื่องทำความเย็นตามอาคารต่างๆ
  10. อำนวยความสะดวกและให้ความช่วยเหลือแก่นักเรียน ผู้ปกครองและผู้มาติดต่อ
  11. ให้ความร่วมมือในการทำงานกับแผนกต่างๆ
  12. ให้ปฏิบัติตามกฎระเบียบต่างๆ ของโรงเรียนที่กำหนดขึ้น อย่างเคร่งครัด
  13. เข้าอบรมในหลักสูตรที่โรงเรียนจัดหาให้เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อพัฒนาความรู้และทักษะ
  14. ทำหน้าที่แทนพนักงานรับโทรศัพท์นอกเวลาทำการในวันปกติและวันหยุด

  6. ไม่ติดยาเสพติดให้โทษและการพนันทุกชนิด
