A unique transferrable program

From the very earliest years of learning all the way through High School, ISB offers a premium, international education, rooted in a US curriculum with the most relevant, challenging international curricula woven throughout. This 'best of the world' approach results in exceptional outcomes for our students. Our joyful, vibrant and modern school is purpose built with the very best facilities and opportunities for learning. Our programs are accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) and in the High School, AP (Advanced Placement) and IB (International Baccalaureate).

Our curriculum builds on rigorous, research-based standards, ensuring that our globally-mobile students are set up for success wherever their learning journey takes them next whether that is a new PK-12 school or they are off to university. The ISB educational program is ambitious, yet balanced, ensuring that students gain not only the knowledge that they need to move on to the next stage in their educational journey, but are equipped with the values and attributes to become confident, capable and caring global citizens.

The Middle School - Grades 6-8

Moving up to the Middle School, our belief is that learners at this age need a combination of care, challenge, choice, and opportunity to help them succeed. Through a thoughtful and caring approach to students’ social emotional learning, our teachers, counselors, and administrators guide students through this stage of their learning and growth. Our curriculum provides students with a globally-minded curriculum and instruction that meets students at their level of need.

High School - Grades 9-12

In the High School, students are offered a university pathway that suits them best, with the choice of a High School Personal Choice Diploma, the IB Diploma and several rigorous AP courses. The High School is a welcoming community of lifelong learners with a strong sense of school spirit and pride. We provide opportunities for our learners to engage and participate in the arts, athletics and a huge range of activities. We ask our learners to challenge and extend themselves in their academic pursuits and strive for balance in their busy lives.

Inclusion through a broader lens

At ISB, we believe that families should have access to an education that meets the needs of all of their children. As an inclusive school, ISB is committed to embracing neurodiversity and successfully serving a limited number of students representing a full range of learning differences; mild, moderate, intensive, and the exceptionally able.

Extra and Co-curricular

ISB is not just the three Divisions of Elementary, Middle and High School. Our Extra and Co-curricular activities are equally important, with the widest range of clubs, teams, coaching and the 'pay-to-play' activities we call Panther Activities and Panther Sports. Our commitment to helping students find their passions is unrivaled, and we really have earned the nickname 'ISBusy' with hundreds of different activities for students to explore and enjoy.
