School Bus

Our expansive 37-acre campus is located in the beautiful, family-friendly community of Nichada Thani, about 20kms outside of the downtown Bangkok core. International School Bangkok (ISB) first opened on the grounds of the U.S. Embassy but we moved to various campuses, over our 70 year history, as the school grew in enrollment and programs. In 1992, in order to fulfil the vision to become the leading school in Asia, with ample opportunities for students, ISB moved to its current campus. ISB now offers some of the widest range of subject and program choices, and is home to close to 1700 students. Our fully-purposed campus provides students with phenomenal sports facilities, arts spaces, science labs, many innovative learnings spaces and much more. Nichada Thani also provides families with a wide range of housing options and a fully-inclusive community, which allows for a unique lifestyle in Bangkok. This, with our extensive bus service, means that our families can choose to leave a quick bike ride or walk to the school or in downtown Bangkok. Finding your way to ISB

The easiest way is to communte to ISB is by car, from the Sukhumvit area, take the Expressway north to the Chaengwattana exit. Exit left towards Pakkret. Turn left on the Pakkret Bypass road, just before Big C and HomePro. Proceed to the end of the Bypass road, then turn left onto Samakee Road. Proceed approximately 500 meters and turn left into Samakee 29 Alley, the Nichada Thani community at the large Nichada Thani sign. At the 7-11 the road will curve right, then take an immediate left into the Nichada Thani gate. Go straight ahead to ISB.

Please bring two photo IDs to exchange, one for Nichada Thani security and one for ISB Security.

 

School Bus

ISB has partnered with Montri Bus Company for student transportation since the 1970s! We offer door-to-door pick-up and drop-off for ES students and for later drop-off times, MS and HS students are dropped at the bottom/top of the Sois. 

The Bus Sign-up Form will be available in PowerSchool closer to the start of the year.

Buses will leave ISB at the following times:

First buses
 - 1:25pm for Pre-K1 & Pre-K2 students
 - 2:40pm for Kindergarten to Grade 5 students
 - 3:05pm for MS and HS students

Second buses
These buses leave after extra-curricular activities
 - 3:55pm for ES students (Home drop off)
 - 4:20pm for MS and HS students (Top soi drop)

Third buses
 - 5:10pm for MS & HS students only

Early Release Bus Schedule (Wednesday)
- 1:25pm for Pre-K1 & Pre-K2 students
 - 2:05pm for Kindergarten to Grade 5 students
 - 2:15pm for MS and HS students

Second buses on Early Release Days

 - 3:25pm for ES students (Home drop off)
