ISB Summer School 2025

Thank you for your interest in the ISB Summer School Program! We are currently planning, updating, and revising all relevant information and the registration process for a three-week summer school session. We anticipate that registration will open and all information will be available here in early March 2025.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM

Eligibility for Enrollment

The ISB Summer School is open to:

Current ISB students
New students enrolling at ISB for the 2025-2026 academic year
Students currently attending another international school in the Greater Bangkok area where English is the language of instruction (a copy of the child’s latest report card will be required)

Academic Program

Our Summer School Academic Program is designed to provide tailored educational opportunities across all grade levels, ensuring each student receives the support or challenge they need.

Elementary School

In the Elementary School, we offer the academic program to students joining Pre-K through Grade 5 in August 2025. Each day is structured to include a balanced curriculum focusing on math, reading, and writing, complemented by daily physical education (PE). For the math and reading/writing components, parents can choose between two options: support or enrichment. This flexibility allows us to cater to the specific needs of each child, ensuring they receive the appropriate level of support or challenge.

Middle School

In the Middle School, we offer the academic program to students joining Grades 6 through 8 in August 2025. Each day is structured to include a Math/Science class and a Reading/Writing class, complemented by daily physical education (PE). For both academic classes, parents can choose between two options: support or enrichment. This structure enables students to fully immerse themselves in their academic classes while also benefiting from physical activity.

High School

In the High School, we offer the academic program to students joining Grades 9 through 12 in August 2025. Students may enroll in an English or Math course for the entire day.

English

The High school English courses are designed for a variety of purposes. They can provide an excellent introduction for students who seek to strengthen their skills to prepare for the next academic year. Students who seek enrichment in language arts will enjoy a stimulating and challenging academic environment while junior and senior high school students can build on the foundations of their term time study. Students who have completed grades 9-11 before summer school can earn one-half credit (one semester credit) for successful completion of a high school English course during summer school. This can be applied to the ELECTIVE credit requirement for graduation.

Math

High school math uses an integrated model. Whether a student is seeking to prepare for next year's math course or wishing to change tracks to a more intensive math level, the high school summer math courses will help them make that transition. Please note, that no high school math credit is awarded for summer school. These classes are to strengthen or expose students to mathematical concepts to help prepare them for the upcoming school year.

EAL Program

Middle and High School students have the opportunity to participate in our MS/HS English as an Additional Language (MS EAL and HS EAL) programs, which cater to beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners. In the MS and HS, students will be in a mixed ability class, but for many activities are grouped with similar ability level peers during activities such as reading. The MS students will also participate in daily physical education (PE) along with the MS academic students.

Exploratory Program

In addition to the academic and EAL programs, we offer an Exploratory Program available to Elementary, Middle, and High School students. This program features a variety of exploratory classes designed to engage students' interests and expand their learning experiences.
