No matter where you’re coming from, whether across the world or just around the corner, every family at ISB is embraced with a warm and heartfelt welcome.

The ISB Parents is a dedicated group of parent volunteers passionate about helping newcomers feel at home. Throughout the year, they organize social events, coffee meetups, and fun gatherings to build a strong sense of community and friendship. They also host Parent Coffees following Parent Volunteer Board Meetings, providing a space to connect and share experiences.

Beyond events, the Welcome Wai team offers valuable resources to help families navigate ISB and life in Bangkok, ensuring a smooth transition. You'll see their friendly faces across campus, always ready to lend a hand and make sure every parent feels welcome, connected, and happy at ISB.

If you would like to volunteer at ISB, our Engagement Team of Bob, Mai, Rob, Daniela, and Harold is here to help you connect, contribute, and become involved in our community. They can guide you toward volunteer opportunities and connect you with your Community Representative, helping you build relationships and find meaningful ways to support ISB.

Events

Throughout the year, ISB hosts a series of community-building events that parents can look forward to. Parent Volunteers and the Booster Club play a key role in planning and ensuring the success of these events. Some examples include:

  • International Family Fair
  • Intercultural Week
  • Welcome Wai
  • Spirit Nights
  • Elementary Intercultural Day
  • School Events
  • Community Market
  • Food Fair

School events include a Concert in the Park, an annual Reception or Gala Ball, Parent Leadership Dinners, Parent Volunteer Luncheon and more.
