Cheers to the High School Jazz Combo and Vocal Jazz Ensemble with special guests, The Stuart Hawkins Quartet: A Spectacular ISB Jazz Nite I 2025
On November 26th, 2026 the Cultural Center Theater transformed into a vibrant haven for music lovers as the ISB High School Jazz Band delivered a truly unforgettable Jazz Nite I 2025. What unfolded on stage was more than a performance, it was a celebration of student voice, creativity, and the unique spirit that makes ISB’s arts community so special.
From the opening tune to the final chord, the Jazz Combo and Vocal Jazz Ensemble filled the theater with warmth, energy, and technical brilliance. Their setlist, woven with classics, contemporary pieces, and soulful improvisations, highlighted exactly what jazz invites in young musicians: curiosity, risk-taking, and the courage to express something uniquely their own. Each solo, rhythmic shift, and collaborative moment reflected not only hours of rehearsal but the joy of learning and performing together.
Jazz Nite has become an annual reminder of how the arts empower students to think deeply, connect meaningfully, and step forward with confidence. This year’s performance embodied those values beautifully. Our musicians demonstrated the attentive listening, responsiveness, and trust that jazz demands qualities that mirror the community we intentionally cultivate at ISB.
A heartfelt thanks goes to our dedicated music teachers and guest musicians, whose guidance, encouragement, and expert instruction continue to elevate student artistry. Their behind-the-scenes commitment is part of what makes nights like this so memorable.
