Panther Dance
Dance Forward!
Panther Dance is an extracurricular program that provides structured learning with clear goals, enhancing students' confidence, discipline, and dedication to their craft, ultimately fostering a robust and well-rounded dance education. Progress is tracked through standardized assessments, eventually leading to ballet examinations for students who are interested. This approach encourages technical skill development and a deeper understanding of dance theory and practice. Performing classes will take the stage in May in a vibrant end-of-year showcase, continuing the exciting new format introduced previously.
Enrollment requires registration for combined Seasons 1-2 and Seasons 3-4.
Seasons 1-2: Focus on developing technical skills, and introducing dance theory and practice. This stage aims to build a solid groundwork in both the physical and theoretical aspects of dance.
Seasons 3-4: Efforts will be directed towards assessing current skill levels, identifying areas that need improvement, and providing constructive feedback on technique and performance. Students perform on stage, demonstrating technical skills learned in class, followed by a choreographed routine to showcase their progress and performance ability.
Students are placed according to both age and ability.
