All students and parents must hold a valid Thai visa or e-visa certificate in order to enroll at ISB.

ISB accepts the following visa types:

• Non-Immigrant B
• Non-Immigrant F
• Non-Immigrant ED (Educational Visa)
• Non-Immigrant O

Please note that ISB cannot accept a receipt or other document showing that a visa application is currently being processed. A valid visa or e-visa certificate must be provided before enrollment.

Visa Documents

Please upload copies of your family's Thai visas or e-visa certificates to your OpenApply checklist as soon as they become available:

ISB OpenApply

This requirement applies to all students and parents who are non-Thai citizens.

If your child will be attending ISB on an Educational Visa (Non-Immigrant ED), ISB can provide the supporting documents required for the Educational Visa application. We recommend that families carefully review and understand the current requirements of the Royal Thai Government, including those of the relevant Thai Embassy or Consulate and the Thai Immigration Bureau, before beginning the application process

Important Requirements

• One Guardian Visa (Non-Immigrant O) is granted per student.
• At least one parent of a student holding an Educational Visa (Non-Immigrant ED) must hold a Guardian Visa (Non-Immigrant O).
• Before ISB can proceed with providing the supporting documents for the Educational Visa application, the full tuition fees for the upcoming semester must be paid.
• The tuition invoice will be sent by the ISB Finance Department after the acceptance letter has been issued.

Please note that visa processing is subject to the requirements and approval of the relevant Thai authorities.

ISB Educational Visa Information

If you have received an admission offer and are considering enrolling at ISB, we recommend reviewing the Educational Visa information early, particularly if your family will require an Educational Visa and Guardian Visa.

At the Admission Stage

1. Review the visa options and requirements for your family.
2. If you plan to apply for an Educational Visa, review ISB's Educational Visa support information.
3. Accept your admission offer if you decide to enroll at ISB.
4. Complete the required tuition payment. ISB can proceed with preparing the Educational Visa supporting documents after the full tuition fees for the upcoming semester have been paid.
5. Complete the Visa Information Form provided by ISB. After your acceptance and once the required tuition payment has been completed, ISB will send your family a form requesting additional information needed to prepare the supporting documents for your Student Educational Visa and Guardian Visa applications. Please complete and return the form as soon as possible so that ISB can prepare the necessary supporting documents for your visa application.
6. Apply for your visa using the supporting documents provided by ISB and follow the visa application instructions.
7. Upload your visa documents to OpenApply as soon as your visas or e-visa certificates are available.

During Onboarding – Upload Your Visa Documents

Once your family has obtained the required Thai visas or e-visa certificates, please upload copies to your OpenApply checklist as soon as they are available.

Please ensure that the visa information for both students and parents, where applicable, is provided.

Do not wait until the first day of school to submit your visa documents. The documents are required as part of the enrollment process.

Important: A receipt confirming that a visa application has been submitted is not considered a valid visa document for enrollment.

If your child or parent is a Thai citizen, please provide proof of Thai nationality instead of a Thai visa.

Acceptable documents include:

• Thai Birth Certificate
• Thai Household Registration (Tabien Baan)
• Thai National ID Card

Please upload the applicable proof of Thai nationality to your OpenApply checklist.

If you are a non-Thai citizen:

☐ Review your family's visa requirements
☐ Ensure each student and parent has an accepted Thai visa or e-visa certificate
☐ If using an Educational Visa (Non-Immigrant ED), review ISB's ED Visa Support information
☐ If applicable, ensure at least one parent holds a Guardian Visa (Non-Immigrant O)
☐ Complete the Visa Information Form sent by ISB, if applicable
☐ Use the supporting documents provided by ISB to apply for your Student and Guardian Visas
☐ Upload copies of all available visas/e-visa certificates to OpenApply
☐ Complete all visa requirements before enrollment

If you are a Thai citizen:

☐ Provide proof of Thai nationality
☐ Upload the applicable Thai Birth Certificate, Household Registration, and/or Thai ID to OpenApply

Please remember:

Tourist visas are not accepted for students or parents.

A visa application receipt or proof that an application is being processed does not satisfy ISB's enrollment requirement. A valid visa or e-visa certificate must be provided.
