ISB Tuition and Fees

International School Bangkok’s initial registration fees and costs primarily include an application processing fee, a registration fee, and an annual fee. Once the student's application is approved, the process addresses the tuition and transportation fees, alongside the ISA membership fee.

The payment process differs depending on the student’s situation. If the student is currently enrolled at ISB, or has been one of its students over the past school year, the payment process differs from that of a newly enrolled student.

Prorating Tuition and Transportation Fees

Full tuition fees per semester are charged after a student has been at ISB for 50 days. Up to that time, ISB will charge 2% of the per-semester tuition fee per day. Transportation fees are charged based on the number of days of each semester and will be prorated based on the number of days in attendance. In the event of circumstances not foreseen when fees were set, the ISB Board of Trustees reserves the right to increase or revise fees at any time during the school year.

As a non-profit organization, ISB reinvests all of its income into the school, recognizing that teachers have the single most significant impact on learning. In a typical school year, 80-85% of the tuition income is allocated to salaries and benefits. This investment in quality education allows us to attract and retain the best and brightest teachers, while maintaining a student-teacher ratio of 9 students to 1 teacher school-wide.

Over the past year, we invested 156 million baht in capital projects as we continue to implement our rolling 7-year facilities master plan. Recent capital projects include the Elementary School Cafeteria renovation, the construction of Sky Park and Parkour Park playgrounds, the installation of new classroom doors and access control, as well as ongoing facilities improvements, such as increasing our electric capacity, painting, and other projects.

Payment Methods

Various payment methods are available for convenience and ease, including wire transfers, online credit card payments, and on-campus payments. You can explore any of the options as long as the due deadlines are met. Overdue payments incur a late payment fee. The ISB finance team is available to guide families through billing and payment arrangements.

Health Insurance

ISB has also set the rules and regulations for students regarding Health Insurance. The limited student accident insurance coverage is reserved for emergencies and activities authorized by and under the supervision of school authorities, parents, and/or guardians. Students are advised to acquire their own personal Health Insurance for optimal coverage.
