There is a separate Elementary School New Parent Meeting for ES Parents on Thursday, 10 January, 2019 – 7:45am.

All counselors are always available to meet with you or your child during the school day or after school, if you or your child are experiencing difficulty or are in need of assistance.

Book Store and Uniform Shop

ISB uniforms will undergo a change from August, 2019 for the 2019/20 school year, as such we urge you to purchase conservatively. All school uniforms must be purchased at ISB. School uniforms will be for sale at the ISB Bookstore from 7:30am – 2:00pm on Thursday, 3 January, 2019 & Friday, 4 January, 2019, and again on Monday, 7 January, 2019 from 7:00am onwards.  The bookstore also sells school supplies. Only students in grades 6 to12 need to purchase school supplies. School supplies are provided by ISB for students in Pre-K to grade 5.

On Site Admissions Appointments

All students entering grades PreK to 12, along with their parents, are required to have an individual appointment to meet with a counselor for the purpose of confirming course selections and scheduling (Middle School/High School), or to be placed in a class (Elementary School). Some academic testing and placement testing may be required as a part of this process. Please let us know as soon as the student has a confirmed arrival plan so that we can schedule these appointments in advance for you.
You should plan to bring your child’s final school reports and updated standardized test scores to this appointment with you. However, it assists us greatly if they are scanned and sent ahead of time. It is also expected that High School Students entering grades 9 to 12 will have requested their official transcripts (in a sealed envelope) be sent to ISB in advance. ISB does accept official transcripts electronically if they are sent from school to school (not through a student or parent). Those may be sent to

Students who have completed an On-Site Appointment or Prek/Kinder Screening

If you have already had an appointment to meet with your child’s counselor or have come to ISB for a PreK/Kg screening appointment between August – December, 2018, then you only need to bring your child back to ISB on Thursday, 3 January & Friday, 4 January, 2019 for submission of all final documents, school bus sign up, purchase of school uniforms and ID card photo.

Transportation and School Buses

Students that reside inside the Nichada Thani community often walk or ride their bicycles to school, with ISB maintaining bike racks which can accommodate more than 300 bicycles. Helmets are required for all students, parents and ISB employees who wish to ride their bicycle onto our campus.

For students living in the city, ISB utilizes Montri Bus Company. Students are picked up from their residences each morning and are offered departure times from school in the afternoon which accommodate the school sponsored after school activities and sports program. It is important to note that this bus schedule does not accommodate the schedules of all of the community activities.

Each bus has a Montri employee that acts as the Bus Monitor with all buses having communication systems which allows Montri personnel to keep in direct contact with the school.

Buses will leave school at the following times:

  • First bus –  2:35pm (1:25pm for early dismissal day)
  • Second bus –  3:50pm (2:30pm: Elementary, 3:30pm: Middle and High School)
  • Third bus –  5:10pm (Middle School/High School students only; Friday departure 4:35pm)

The 3rd bus is for High School students only.  The 2nd and 3rd buses for Middle School and High School students is not door to door service.  Please contact Montri Transport for the drop off point nearest your home.  Montri Customer Service: +66(0) 2906 0160/+66(0) 2919 9900 Ext. 301 – 304   Email: or  Website:
