Admissions Apply How to Apply

Applying in three easy steps

Each step has a few documents that need submission. Gathering these documents in advance will help you complete your child(ren)’s application faster.

Before you begin, please read through our Key Application Dates document to learn when you should start your child’s application.

  • Go to our Admissions Portal and click the blue Application button
  • Upload a picture of your child(ren)
  • Complete the student and parent information. It’s important that you answer all the required questions.

Please note that full transparency is required when completing this form. ISB reserves the right to reconsider an offer of admission if undisclosed information becomes apparent.

  • You can make an online payment, a bank transfer, or pay in person at the cashier.
  • Good to Know: This is a non-refundable fee and is required prior to a review of your child(ren)’s file can take place.
Some items require information from others. Once all checklist items have been submitted, your completed application will receive a timely review by our Admissions Committee. Please ensure that all uploaded items are clearly labeled e.g. SMITH, John – Passport copy.pdf or SMITH, Jane – 2020-21 Semester 1 Report.pdf

  • Upload scanned copies of
    • Official school report cards (the past three years and most recent semester report when available)
    • Information/photo pages of passports of the applicant(s) and employed parent(s)
    • Results from Standardized Testing in the previous three years, if available
    • Additional academic documents such as learning support reports or gifted testing results, if available/required
  • Send Confidential Online Recommendation(s) – Fill out your child(ren)’s teacher’s name and official school email address. The online form will be sent directly to the teacher requesting their confidential recommendation. Please see below to see who must complete a recommendation for your child(ren).
    • For Pre-K to Kindergarten applicants
      • Homeroom teacher recommendation
      • A parent questionnaire (completed by the parents)
    • For Grade 1-5 applicants
      • Homeroom teacher recommendation
    • For Grade 6-12 applicants
      • Counselor/Principal
      • English Teacher
      • Math Teacher
Once all required application documents are submitted, your child(ren)’s file will go for a review to the Admissions Committee. Please note that only complete applications are reviewed and considered for admission. The review process can take up to 14 school days.
