ISB is Pre-Kindergarten (3 years old) to Grade 12. We offer a wide range of subjects, courses and university pathways within our Divisions and we offer the International Baccalaureate in the High School, as well as an American High School Diploma with AP courses.
History
Our Heritage
The modern, leading-edge campus and curriculum
you see today is a far cry from the humble, yet ambitious, beginnings as the ‘International Children’s Center’ - a wooden building on stilts within the grounds of the US Embassy in 1951. It is also very different from the period of time in central Bangkok when enrolment soared to over 3,600 students during the Vietnam War. Our spacious campus, enveloped in a luscious tropical community, is home to around 1700 students, yet the spirit of ISB, our values, our commitment to academic excellence and our global outlook, has remained constant for the past 70 years.
