The ES Learning Hub is a dynamic and flexible teaching and learning space that is innovatively designed with best practices and research in mind. The facility is at the heart of our school community and elementary school philosophy and offers seamless continuity between the library and the classroom. The ES Learning Hub enables, encourages and empowers teaching and learning for all members of the elementary school community.
The focus of the ES Learning Hub is to promote, and infuse across the curriculum, the wide-ranging literacy skills that are established, growing and emerging as we speak. In order to develop strong 21st Century literacy skills with our students, we will harness the power of current and emerging technological advancements, while building upon a very strong foundation of traditional literacy. The integration, combination, and successful use of all of these tools together is what creates a 21st Century literate student.
The ES Learning Hub is the future of education: learning how to find, evaluate and contribute to the world of knowledge that is very quickly becoming at our fingertips.
