In order to help insure that each student feels part of a nurturing community with a mentoring adult advocate, students meet in a small “Synergy” group. These groups are made up of approximately ten students and one mentoring adult and meet for 20 minutes during the day every Monday. Synergy is a time for students to learn about what is happening in the school community, address current schoolwide issues, and monitor academic progress.
