The purpose of the Social Studies program is to develop in students the ability to think critically about the human condition in order to make informed decisions that guide social action. The two units of study will focus on developing the concepts of Influence (interactions of humans and the physical environment) and Is it Fair? (children's rights, civic action, and global citizenship.)
