The purpose of the Social Studies program is to develop in students the ability to think critically about the human condition in order to make informed decisions that guide social action.
Mapping & Orienteering: This unit focuses on the use of maps to show locations and regions that demonstrate understanding of location, direction, size, and shape.
Marketplace: This unit focuses and the difference between wants and needs, goods and services, supply and demand.
