The Reporting Student Progress system of ISB's Elementary School is designed to give you frequent and specific feedback about your child’s progress. Each quarter highlights particular areas of your child’s growth and development. Each component should be viewed as part of a whole. The system, as a whole, will give you comprehensive information about your child’s academic progress, personal and social skills and work and study habits.
In addition, parents are welcome to contact their child's teachers at any time to set up an appointment. Many teachers communicate with parents in other ways such as weekly newsletters, class websites, e-mails, phone calls, class podcasts, and other avenues.
The Reporting Student Progress program reports progress in a variety of contexts to parents such as report cards, progress reports, student-led conferences, parent-teacher conferences, student portfolios and surveys.
