ISB Middle School is served by the K-12 Parent Teacher Auxiliary (PTA) through the work of a Middle School Coordinator, Susan Meyer, who plans and facilitates Middle School PTA meetings and organizes the work of our many volunteers. The Booster Club opens the Booster Hut once a week and provides support to student activities. These two organizations are available to the staff whenever needed for student activities.
The PTA publishes an annual phone/email directory and a quarterly newsletter, Touchstone. PTA representatives serve on many committees including security, transportation, and food.
Whenever you see students enjoying themselves during leisure time, you can bet that the PTA or Boosters are in the background making it all work. A few of the activities parents work hard for include: International Food Fair, Thai Food Festival, Week of Giving, Cookies for the Staff Day, Popcorn Sales and spring luncheon. Many contributions from parents from all corners of the globe keep our students learning through informal, social activities and contribute to our powerful, dynamic environment.
