Panther Run Series

The Panther Run Series is a monthly run which aims to:

• Provide regular, friendly competition for community members and ISB athletes

• Allow for runners of all ability levels to compete

• Build a running community within Nichada Thani

• Enhance community fitness

• Fund Raise for Charity and the ISB Cross Country Team

When and where are the races?

All races begin and finish on the ISB track.  Each race has a start time of 7.30am, with registration opening at 7.00am.

What are the 2011 race dates?

Saturday 20 August Race 1
Saturday 10 September Race 2
Saturday 8 October Race 3
Saturday 19 November Race 4 (Combined with Nancy Crosser Fitness Challenge)
Saturday 10 December Panther Charity Run

How do I register?

You only need to register once and you are automatically registered for all the races. On the morning of the race simply turn up, check in and pay your entry fee (100 baht, proceeds to charity and the ISB Varsity XC team). It's as easy as that. Register at the CAO website.

The 2009 Panther Series Charity Run

57,000 Baht Raised, 725 Kilometers Ran, 53 000 calories burnt!

Thank you to each of the 114 runners who this morning participated in the ‘Panther Series Charity Run 2009’. It was fantastic to see so many community members out enjoying an active start to the day while also raising a truly grand total for the Mercy Center Library at Klong Toey, this will certainly go a long way when it comes to stocking their library shelves.

Congratulations to the following people who won Nike Shoes due to their participation in other Panther Run Series races and their performance in today’s race. Special thanks to Nike for donating these to the series.

U12/Middle School

If you enjoyed the run today and would like to participate in more timed monthly 5km or 3.2km runs then watch out for the Panther Run Series races on next years ISB school calendar. Every first Saturday of the month we will host a Panther Run Series race starting at 7am. Each semester will also have a large race... The Christmas Classic (Dec) and the Panther Series Charity Run (May). If you are interested in helping with any of these runs, or if you have ideas on how we can improve these, please let me or any of the committee members know.

Finally, what you have been waiting for... Please find attached the results of today’s race. There were two sticks not handed in which I think I have accounted for, but if you see any discrepancies between your time and the recorded time, or if you aren’t on the results, please let me know.
