During the next few weeks the Scholarship Pillar of the National Honor Society is organizing a Read-a-thon event to fund-raise for the kids of Prasert Islam School. Part of money earned will be directly donated to Prasert Islam for their lunch funding and the rest will be used for purchasing other school materials for them. To help and be a part of this, all you have to do is the following:
- Get and Read-a-thon form and find your sponsor(s): Parents, teachers, friends, relatives, co-workers, clubs, etc.
- Read during your winter break! Any types of reading materials are OK (e.g. A book you are reading for English class, magazine, comic, Newspaper, etc.)
- Collect the donation from your sponsors!
- Turn in your forms and money after the winter break!
You can pick up a read-a-thon form from your English teachers starting on November 24th up until the end of the semester. It is also available for download on the ISB Website.
