Students use Information Technology (IT) to learn in a productive and efficient manner, to express their ideas and show creativity, to analyze and solve problems, to communicate their findings and to demonstrate their Exit Outcomes.
ISB believes that IT skills are best learned in the context of other learning. Also, ISB believes that technology can enhance the learning of subject area knowledge. With these beliefs in mind, the High School has put in place an integrated technology learning model. Students apply and learn IT skills throughout the course of their curricular learning.
Additionally students may elect to pursue specialized IT elective courses focused on modeling, programming, filmmaking, or web site design. The ISB High School IT course offerings are listed below:
