Message from the Head of School
In the literature on school improvement, multiple lines of evidence emphasize one theme - great schools focus all decision making on a compelling Vision for Learning. These schools use their vision to guide them as they make curriculum, teaching, personnel, and financial decisions. ISB is a great school with our vision propelling the work of our students and staff.
Our vision - to be a model of excellence in educating students for success in the world community - is ambitious and clear. We do our utmost to ensure that our students will make extraordinary academic progress. They will become smart about their own learning processes, understanding what does and does not work for them as learners. They will set academic targets and achieve them. They will become citizens of the world, celebrating and responding to diverse cultures. These transportable gifts assure that our students are unusually successful in their next school or university.
