H1N1 Update: September 2nd, 2010 We have been witnessing a recurrence of HINI infections among students and community members. At the moment instances are relatively few, but medical experts are anticipating more in the coming weeks. We continue to be in contact with health advisors and have developed guidelines for monitoring and preventing H1N1 situation ISB. These include thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting all classroom surfaces and common areas and screening students for fever in our Health Center. We continue to emphasize the need for proper hygienic practices, including hand-washing and use of hand gel. Please continue to monitor your children's health at home. Encourage constant hand-washing and personal hygiene practices. If you suspect a fever or your child is coughing/sneezing, keep him/her at home and seek medical advice.
