Global Citizenship Week

Global Citizenship Week is a required week-long program for high school students.  The program involves out of the classroom learning experiences focused on global issues and/or community service.  They may take place in Thailand or in other countries in the world.

 There are 3 main categories of GCW courses with an additional category in career exploration:

  • Category 1 - In Thailand
  • Category 2 - In Asia but outside Thailand
  • Category 3 - Outside Asia
  • Career Exploration

Registration Process

Priority Selection:

All selections will be on-line.

1. First Priority - Seniors will select on October 6-8.

2. Second Priority - Juniors will select on Oct. 10-12.

3. Third priority - Sophomores will select on October 17-19.

4. Fourth Priority: Freshmen will select on October 18-20.

5. Fifth Priority: Students who fail to complete the registration process will be assigned to available courses on October 21.

 

 First Priority Selection: Seniors

a. Thursday, October 6, On-line registration window opens 7:00 pm.

Saturday, October 8, On-line registration window closes 3:00 pm.

 

Second Priority Selection: Juniors

a. Monday, October 10, on-line registration window opens 7:00 pm.

Wednesday, October 12, On-line registration window closes 3:00 pm.

 

Third Priority Selection: Sophomores

 a. Monday, October 17 on-line registration window opens 7:00 pm.

Wednesday, October 19, On-line registration window closes 3:00 pm.

 

Fourth Priority: Freshmen

a. Tuesday, October 18 on-line registration window opens 7:00 pm.

Thursday, October 20, On-line registration window closes 3:00 pm.

 

 Fifth Prioity: Any student who has not selected a course will be assigned to available courses on October 21.

a. October 21, any student who has not selected a course will be assigned to available courses.

  

November 1: Receive Parent Permission Form and Bank Payment Slip in Comm. Group.

Students/Sponsors notified of final Course selections. 12:00 pm HS Bulletin Boards

 

November 4: Parent Permission Form submit to Khun Tara (HS Office), before 3:00pm.

November 8: First GCW Course meetings. Please see assigned rooms in GCW Student Handbook
