AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL

Meets twice a month during flex time depending on the member’s schedules
Amnesty International is a human rights organization with over a million members from around the world. The ISB chapter works closely with AI-Thailand to ensure members become informed about the organization, human rights legislation and specific cases of human rights abuses around the world. Activities of the club include sending appeals to appropriate authorities regarding human rights abuses, presenting information on human rights and the AI mandate, campaigning for human rights issues, listening to guest speakers, taking field trips and celebrating our hard work and achievements.

The Green Panthers is a group of concerned students, teachers and administrators whose mission is to reduce the carbon footprint of ISB and act as watchdogs to ensure good ethical and green actions. If you are interested in becoming a Green Panther, either by attending the school-wide Wednesday meeting at 2:15 n the SC room in the Main Library or by pursuing concerns of your own, please contact one of the above named teachers. 


MODEL UNITED NATIONS

Meets every Thursday, 2:15-4:15
Some club members will attend the MUN Convention to represent ISB at IASAS. Members write and debate resolutions dealing with world situations and strive to simulate realistic United Nations activities.
