ES ASA Registration Information

Via the Friday Folder, ES ASA information is sent home along with a mini weekly listing.  Registration forms are due to the ES Office this semester by 3p.m. Wednesday August 31st, along with the payment of 2500 baht for each activity.

In the event that more students apply for an activity than can be accommodated, the procedure for selecting students for the activity is followed to be as fair as possible:

1) Upon the close of registration the ASA coordinator will make a list of students applying for each activity. 

2) If the number of applicants exceeds the listed maximum enrollment for an activity, the coordinator will construct a list giving priority to applicants who are applying for an activity for the first time.  The coordinator will then randomly draw names from the remaining list of applicants.

3) If your child is not placed in their 1st Choice he/she will be placed in the listed 2nd Choice activity for that day providing that the activity has not reached maximum enrollment. If the replacement activity is also full, you will be contacted to make another choice.


All classes have a minimum enrollment level of twelve (12) students. If an offering does not reach minimum enrollment, that activity will be cancelled, and your child will be placed in their listed 2nd Choice, or you will be contacted to make another choice.

If you are not contacted, you may assume that your child has been placed in either their first choice or second choice activity.  If your child needs to withdraw from an activity please contact the ES ASA coordinator directly.  This must be done before the ASA schedule has started.  There is a NO REFUND policy for ASA.  If your child wishes to switch ASA choice we would ask that this be done prior to the 3rd ASA session.

As you can imagine, the set up of each semester is quite hectic! Having you meet ontime-deadlines, fully completing applications and making correct payments helps us tremendously.
