Each Semester, the ES ASA information is sent home, along with Registration Forms. (Click on the Registration Form.doc icon to download a copy.) These Forms are due to the ES Office by the 3:00 January 27th, along with the payment of baht 2000 for each activity.
In the event that more students apply for an activity than can be accommodated, the procedure for selecting students for the activity is followed to be as fair as possible:
2) If the number of new applicants exceeds the listed maximum enrollment for that activity, the coordinator will then randomly draw names from the new applicants’ list.
3) If more students can still be accommodated after all the new applicants have been accepted, the ASA coordinator will randomly draw the corresponding number of names from the group of repeat applicants to fill the Activity Roster.
4) If your child is not placed in their 1st Choice he/she will be placed in the listed 2nd Choice activity for that day providing that the activity has not reached maximum enrollment. If the replacement activity is also full, you will be contacted to make another choice.
All classes have a minimum enrollment level of eight (8) students. If an offering does not reach minimum enrollment, that activity will be cancelled, and your child will be placed in their listed 2nd Choice, or you will be contacted to make another choice.
If you are not contacted, you may assume that your child has been placed in either his first choice or replacement activity. Payment for replacement activities will be handled individually after the registration days. Refunds will be sent in the Friday Folders after the activities have begun and all changes have been made.
As you can imagine, the set up of each semester is quite hectic! Having you meet time-lines and completely fill out choices, and making complete payments helps us tremendously.
