Dr. Curtis enters her fifth year at ISB and her fourth year as the Head of the Counseling Department. Prior to coming to ISB, Dr. Curtis worked at Shanghai American School where she was the Head of Counseling for six years. Dr. Curtis brings a rich background in international school counseling and college admissions counseling, having also worked in Brussels, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, Riyadh and Islamabad. In 2011, the Overseas Association of College Admissions Counselors Organization (OACAC) presented her with the Distinguished Service Award in recognition of her outstanding service to the profession. Dr. Curtis is also part of the faculty for the College Board Summer Institute for Overseas College Counselors, a TOEFL Board member since 2007, and was a member of the ECIS Guidance Committee from 2002 to 2010. She is responsible for coordinating our college and university fairs as well as coordinating the visits from colleges and universities from around the world.
