ISB’s curriculum is based on the highest North American standards and enriched with curricula from around the world to promote international perspectives. Language Arts/English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, World Languages, Physical Education, Fine and Performing Arts, Health, and Computer Science classes provide a comprehensive program for students. There are support services in place for students who learn English as an Additional Language (EAL) or who require learning support in Intensive Studies (I.S.).
ISB offers high-school students the opportunity to pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) in grades 11 & 12. This program offers a challenging curriculum and in some cases provides students the opportunity to earn university credit. Students can take individual IB courses in areas of special interest or pursue the full IB Diploma, which is a demanding two-year pre-university program of studies. The IB Diploma is internationally recognized and accepted by universities worldwide. AP Calculus is offered as a course to prepare students for the AP Calculus exam.
