PROGRAM OF STUDIES (POS)—To help you prepare for enrolling at ISB, you need to review our website, www.isb.ac.th and choose the link High School. Click here to view the Program of Studies, where the PDF file will briefly describe our course offerings and indicate if there are any prerequisites required, teacher recommendations, or auditions for selecting a particular course. Teacher recommendations may be provided by your current teacher in the subject area from your current/previous school. Please advise your teacher to write the recommendation on school letterhead and forward to ISB in advance or bring the recommendation(s) with you when you meet with your counselor in August .
COURSE SELECTION—Once you've completed the application process and been admitted through the ISB Admissions Office, you should complete your course slections for the school year. Grade level course registration forms are available on this page in the attachments above. (Right click on the desired attachment and choose Save Target As... to save to your computer.) Please download the appropriate grade level pre-registration form, complete it and send the completed form to register@isb.ac.th, or fax it to +662-960-4103 as soon as possible.
One attachment above lists all of the High School courses along with their course numbers. The Program of Studies includes descriptions and pre-requisite requirements of each High School Course. Please note that some courses are required of all students, particularly in Grade 9 and Grade 10. However, there are elective choices, for which you should indicate alternatives. There may be conflicts with the courses you have requested, or they may be at capacity, necessitating that an alternative may have to be scheduled. All attempts will be made to schedule your course requests, which will be reviewed with your counselor during your appointment in August. IB DIPLOMA STUDENTS— Please note the special instructions for students choosing IB courses, particularly HL (High Level) courses and especially if you’re entering Grade 12. Make sure you’re aware of these notes and we suggest you confer with your current IB teacher and ISB if there are any questions about these guidelines. (See link)
CREDITS and ISB GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS—ISB Graduation requirements are listed on page 6 of the Program of Studies. Your counselor will review your documents from your previous school(s) to determine the credits earned during high school and any adjustments necessary to meet our graduation requirements. Please make sure you have “official” final transcripts of the courses and grades earned during your high school attendance at your previous school. Admission was granted to you upon grades in progress, but we need your final academic documents from your previous school to transfer credits. Failure to provide these records may jeopardize your meeting graduation requirements at
