| ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP) PROGRAM |
Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations are external exams offered through the American College Board. They are taken to earn either advanced standing or university credit in the USA. More selective schools will expect higher scores. Some schools give advanced standing while others award college credit. Each university formulates its own policy.
